Welcoming a newborn into a family is always special, and it’s even more heartwarming when furry family members are part of the story. During this in-home session, the family’s two dogs couldn’t get enough of their new little sibling, gently sniffing, nuzzling, and watching over every moment.

Baby Luke’s at-home newborn session with the Gouweloos family was full of gentle moments and soft light. Dressed in calming blues, he wasn’t quite ready for a nap—but that didn’t matter at all. Sometimes the most beautiful newborn memories are captured with tiny eyes wide open, taking in the love and comfort of home.

As a newborn photographer based in Bendigo, I offer families the opportunity to capture their growing story in the comfort of their own home. Welcoming a new baby can feel overwhelming, which is why my approach is gentle, relaxed, and led by what feels natural for your family. Photographing you in your own space allows everyone—especially siblings—to feel at ease, creating honest, meaningful images that grow with your family and reflect this season of your life.

The process starts simply — just say hi and get in touch! Tell me a little about what you’re planning for your Newborn at home shoot, share a bit about your family.
This helps me capture your family exactly as you are — full of personality, connection, and the little details that make your story unique.

2. CHECK AVAILABILITY
Once you’ve reached out, I’ll get back in touch to discuss availability and find a time that works best for your family — whether that’s midweek or on the weekend.
My goal is to fit you in as soon as possible, so we can start planning your family shoot and capture those special moments without waiting too long.
Once we’ve set a date, we can move forward by reviewing and finalising the quote I’ve sent. Once you’re happy with everything, you can accept it, and we’ll be all set to capture your family’s special moments exactly as planned.
3. REVIEW AND ACCEPT QUOTE
Next, you’ll receive your contract, which outlines all the details and protects both of us. A 10% non-refundable payment is required to secure your date, confirming that we’re both committed and ready to capture your family’s special moments.
4. CONTRACT & DEPOSIT
Once your non-refundable payment is received and the contract is signed, you’re officially booked — and I can’t wait to capture your family’s memories!
To make sure you feel amazing during the shoot, I’ll also send over a style guide with tips on what to wear, so your session feels effortless, fun, and completely you.
5. OFFICIALLY BOOKED
My newborn photography sessions are designed to be flexible and tailored to you and your family’s needs. Pricing starts with a base hourly rate, and from there you can choose the elements that suit you best—whether that’s digital images, beautiful prints, or custom artwork to treasure for years to come.
