The Candlelight Ceremony was a vision brought to life by me, Tanya Strauss Photography. I wanted to create a moody, timeless, and classic bridal look — with delicate lace, soft, glowing light, and the warm flicker of candles to set a truly romantic atmosphere.

Disco Bride was a creative concept I developed for The Content Lab, inspired by couples who want an alternative, fun and quirky reception that steps away from tradition. The vision was all about bringing energy, personality and a playful disco vibe to weddings — celebrating love in a way that feels unique and unapologetically different. This vibrant setting came to life with the help of an incredible team of talented vendors:

This forest reception concept was created to capture a tranquil, intimate dining experience set within nature. The vision centred around a delicate and refined setup, where exquisite florals were thoughtfully crafted and styled to contrast beautifully against soft, flowing linens. Surrounded by the natural landscape, the vivid blooms and gentle textures came together to create a romantic and peaceful reception setting that felt both elevated and effortlessly organic.

Dreaming up this styled shoot, I wanted something daring, fun, and unapologetically colourful — and that’s how the Vegas Bride was born. Think pink cowboy boots, a playful short dress, and the cutest little car that instantly set the tone for a day full of personality and laughter. It’s bold, a little bit wild, and perfect inspiration for the brides who truly live life to the fullest and want their wedding day to feel just as vibrant as they are.

This woman is Amazing!!! We chose Tanya to capture our engagement and wedding Photos, when I say she is amazing that is exactly what she is. I am not someone that likes being in front of the camera but she has this way of making you feel like there’s not even a camera there and the smiles just flow. I had the best time.

My event was also going to be small and our guests were quite shy! I needed the right photographer to ensure the small moments between all of us translated to photos. Tanya delivered on this and more. Her framing, lighting choices and ability to be everywhere (without being noticed!) was impressive. She does it all with such positivity and care.
