My photography is rooted in meaning and emotion — not perfection. I follow a documentary approach, capturing the unexpected, the hilarious, the heartfelt, and even the slightly chaotic.

From your partner’s quiet tears to your niece’s meltdown on the dance floor, I’m drawn to the moments that matter most — the ones that are often overlooked.

When you look back at your photos, I want you to feel them. As if you can hear the laughter, taste the champagne, and smell the rain that surprised you halfway through the ceremony. These aren’t just images — they’re emotional time capsules of your day, honestly told, just as it unfolded.

I bring warmth, emotion, and a dash of quirk, looking for small intimate moments to capture. Because to me, these aren’t just photos. With over a decade of experience capturing weddings across different continents and styles — from the heart of South Africa to the charm of Australia.

I’ve learned how to roll with anything. Rainstorms? Bring them on. Timelines falling apart? I’ve got you. Wild, feral kids mid-ceremony? Honestly, I’ll probably photograph them too. I don’t just show up to take pretty pictures —

I anticipate moments, gently guide when needed, and bring a sense of calm when things get a little chaotic. I’m reliable, I’m deeply skilled, and I’d like to think I’m pretty decent company on one of the biggest days of your life.

2. CHECK AVAILABILITY

Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll check my availability for your wedding date. I’ll then send you my wedding photography pricing guide or create a custom quote tailored to exactly what you need.

After you’ve received your quote or pricing guide, you’ll have time to review it and ask any questions. When you’re happy and ready to proceed, you can accept the quote so we can move forward with securing your date.

3. Review & Accept 

Next, I’ll send you a wedding photography contract to review and sign. To lock in your date, a 10% deposit of your total wedding package is required.

4. Contract & Deposit

Once your contract is signed and your deposit is paid, your wedding date is officially reserved. You’ve successfully booked your wedding photographer—and the journey to capturing your beautiful memories begins!

This woman is Amazing!!!  We chose Tanya to capture our engagement and wedding Photos, when I say she is amazing that is exactly what she is. I am not someone that likes being in front of the camera but she has this way of making you feel like there’s not even a camera there and the smiles just flow. I had the best time.

Tanya’s loving and kind nature makes you feel like you have known her your whole life, and she captures the most amazing moments that you wouldn’t even think of. The end results of all the photos are exactly what we wanted and the timeframe that she had finished the photos was incredible, she was even finishing the photos on her holiday which is unbelievable.

My final photos arrived earlier than expected, as promised! Tanya arrived at our venue ahead of time, and even called to confirm details to ensure no moment was missed. What I valued most in the whole experience with Tanya was her creativity. I knew I wanted a candid style and I needed someone capable of working in a low-light environment.

My event was also going to be small and our guests were quite shy! I needed the right photographer to ensure the small moments between all of us translated to photos. Tanya delivered on this and more. Her framing, lighting choices and ability to be everywhere (without being noticed!) was impressive. She does it all with such positivity and care.
